Fitness
(for Grade 9 &
10 Students)
This course is designed to help students develop a personalized approach to active and healthy living. Students will be introduced to basic anatomy, the relationship between healthy eating and performance, and continuing an active lifestyle, and a positive self-image.
Students will understand common terminology associated with fitness training, a variety of related training techniques, and a common base to build and develop personalized and advanced training programs.
Through daily fitness activities and training, students will develop discipline, commitment, and the opportunity to improve and maintain their health and fitness goals.
Program runs from November 25, 2019 - June 16, 2020
Days: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
Time: 2:15 - 3:45 pm
Teacher: Mr. Steve Dalgity
